Battery. Motor. Controller.

The three core systems behind electric drive performance, and the six that complete a ZYX scooter. Explained plainly, without model-specific claims.

The core systems

Energy is stored in the battery, managed by the controller and turned into motion by the motor.

Battery chemistry for the use case

ZYX lithium platforms are explained by two common chemistries, each with different strengths.

LFP

Lithium iron phosphate

Known for
Thermal stability, long cycle life and durable everyday operation.
Suits
Riders who prioritise safety margin, frequent charging and long service life.

NMC

Nickel manganese cobalt

Known for
Higher energy density and lighter packaging for a given capacity.
Suits
Riders who prioritise compact size, lower weight and range packaging.

Battery chemistry is confirmed model by model. Ask ZYX which chemistry a specific model uses.
